Following the elimination last week in the Coupe de France against Poitiers, our team bounced back and showed a completely different face for the opening game of the regular season last night against Les Sables, a great team.
We are a new team with young players and some experienced ones. We added a new member by recruiting Craig Osaikhwuwuomwan (Dutch) who arrived in Tarbes at the end of last week.
We fought defensively and did well in the offense. I am quite satisfied, however we need to work day by day as team and improve our game.
The season is demanding as we have two matches per week and long distance travelling and we need to work together, maintain our energy, and improve our performance.
We will be travelling to Rennes on Thursday for the second game of the regular season on Friday night.
